What can ScamShield check?
ScamShield can review suspicious message text, links, screenshots, or a combination of all three.
Can it analyse WhatsApp screenshots?
Yes. You can choose a screenshot and ScamShield will read visible text for scam signals. Do not include OTPs, passwords, PINs, or full card details.
Does the app open suspicious links?
The product is designed to inspect a submitted address using safety signals. You should not open the link yourself just to copy more information.
How long does analysis take?
Timing depends on what you share and the checks required. The app shows progress while it works rather than promising an exact time.
Is ScamShield always accurate?
No. ScamShield provides automated guidance and can make mistakes. Use the verdict as a second opinion, not a guarantee.
What does a low-risk result mean?
It means the checks did not find strong warning signs. It does not prove that the sender, link, or request is safe.
Are uploaded screenshots stored?
Uploads are used for analysis and temporary files are deleted according to the configured retention period. See the Privacy Policy for the current details.
Is the app free?
Pricing has not been confirmed. We will publish accurate availability and pricing before launch.
Is it available on Android and iOS?
Android beta access and iOS launch updates are planned. The apps are not presented as publicly listed until official links are available.
What should I do if I already paid a scammer?
Contact your bank or payment provider immediately. In India, call the cybercrime helpline at 1930 and report the incident at cybercrime.gov.in.
Does ScamShield replace my bank or law enforcement?
No. Contact your bank for account and payment issues, and law enforcement or the official cybercrime portal to report crime.
